Let me introduce you to Cathy Ngo (pronounced norr), an entrepreneur, writer, podcaster, speaker, mum and the Founder & CEO of KeyNoteworthy - a challenger speaker agency and social enterprise focussed on diversity and inclusion.
Cathy’s mission is to address the lack of diversity on the speaker circuit, by increasing the profile and engagement of speakers from diverse backgrounds - no matter what race, ability, sexuality or gender.
Having spent more than ten years climbing the corporate ladder in human resources and communications, playing ‘snakes and ladders’ in Australia’s top listed companies, Cathy hit what she calls the “bamboo ceiling” - a glass ceiling but thicker.
Like myself, you’ll be shocked at some of the UNACCEPTABLE behaviours she confronted. Something I’d like to think we’ve come a long way to overcome; and at the same time, clearly there’s a long way to go.
